Obama gives the green light for F-16 fighters to Morocco
By The wafin Team.
A very sophisticated F 16 multi-role program, the first of its kind for Morocco, was just given the green light by president Obama. In 2008, Morocco had ordered 24 F 16 block fighters in a deal that cost $2.4 billion dollars. The recent request for support equipment and weaponry for the fighters amounted to $187 million.
I wonder who will the jets be used against?? who is the ennemy of Morocco? I hope they do not depoly these planes against Moroccans in Tanger or Dakhla.
Is there a war in the horizons? IS Morocco planning to free MEliliya and Sebta?
Don't tell me we need to spend this much money just to watch over the borders in the Sahara !!! no way. Does anyone have data about Sahara and how much it costs or benefits Moroccans?
Just Wondering.

sueRabat : I was reading an article last month about arms deals with France. Brazil was number one client of France, followed by Morocco second, and Saudi Arabia third. How much weapons is Morocco buying this year alone? Morocco buying more weapons than Saudi Arabia? Sounds normal? especially that we do not even have a threatening nuclear power neighbor. Is there something we do not know????? What is going on????
