Essadiq began his life in America working as a Maitre’ d  at the Belhurst Castle, located in Geneva, N.Y. In 1979,  he opened his first restaurant, The Carousel, in downtown Syracuse, N.Y. Then in 1985 he created American Hearing Centers, an audiology and hearing instruments firm. When he sold the firm in 1998, it had branches in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Providence, Rhode Island; Silver Springs, Maryland; and Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to his distributorship, Essadiq also owned and operated the Manhattan Restaurant in Syracuse, N.Y.; Maggie’s Restaurant in Norwich, N.Y.; and two other franchise food operations in Bethesda and Frederick, Maryland.

Essadiq has returned to Rabat where he resides with his wife Souad Zinane. He is blessed with 5 children , Rachida, 22; Danny, 15; Jamie, 13; Ahmed, 6; and Abla, 2.

Back in Morocco, Essadiq created Outremer Import and Export Company, which specializes in computer hardware and internet centers in various locations in Morocco.
