Abderrahim  Mahjoubi is a Moroccan-American writer and movie director who participated in many movie series, movies and theatrical plays. He is well known for his constant participation with Firka El Badawi especially in Rass Darb (The corner of the street) and Wa halka fiha wa fiha (This series has and has).

He also directed the play: Lmachach (cats) that was responsible for the launching careers of both: Mr. Hassan Foulane and Abdellah Chakiri.

 
Abderrahim , along with childhood friends and colleagues: Mr. Hassan Foulane, Mr. Attif Hilali and Ms. Wafi Jamila,  have established: Marsrah El hay (The neighborhood Theatre). He also participated in: Kheit Abayad, kheit Aswat (White line, black line) with the Director Bouriki.

Moreover, Abderrahim has written many television series, all in Morocco, with the co-writer Larbi Batma in Halak Saada (The happy Barbershop). As a theatre actor, he participated in: Zeft, (asphalt) and Abou Hayan Tawhidi under the director of the Moroccan playwright: Tayeb Sadikki.
 
He won numerous awards such as Best actor in the Festival of short plays that was orchestrated by Al Masrah Baladi in Casablanca back before it was destroyed and deprived from showing some of many excellent shows.

Abderrahim also won the best scenario for the short movie The lottery that was directed by Attif El Hilali.

 Abderrahim has directed the short movies: Renaissance with input from Spike Lee, Bazar (Was selected as the second best short movie in the Ybor Film Festival) and he also played in nothing but treble that won three prizes: Directing, Set design and musical theme.
