Eid Adha Mubarak insha Allah. May peace and taqwa be our path all.
This week everybody's feast is a Turkey (Thanksgiving in the US) except some of us Muslims will have a whole sheep. Sorry Vegetarians, but I want my Boulfaf with Tea.
This Eid, PLEASE let's all share with & remember the less unfortunate ones amongst us, especially those who are poor, Orphans, disabled or simply living alone and may feel especially lonely during the holidays. Rude, aggressive "born again Baptists" in chicago targetting Muslims on Eid Adha day.
As we were leaving the Halal Restaurant on Eid day, these couple of Indian guys, an African woman and an Iraqi woman who identified themselves as Born Again Christians, started to preach to us about Jesus is God and If we do not follow him we won't go to Heaven.
Oh God, here we go again. The Iraqi woman was very rude telling me our prophet Muhammad pbuh, "wants to marry the Virgin Mary in Paradise," pointing to our religion being a false one.
My reply? "Go preach to sinners in Chicago, I bet they won't allow you to stand by their doors for a minute. Say try going to preach by Admiral Strip Club, or to the many gay bars, or drug corners of Chicago, go preach to the corrupt Chicago City hall officials. I bet you can't do that."
The Iraqi woman especially tried to argue with me, but since she was rude insulting our Prophet, I told her she needs to learn respect, like prophet Jesus.
We walked away from them as they tried to hand us a paper saying a Jihadist found Jesus.
I hope Muslims do not feel intimidated by these biggots. I have yet to meet one of them who practices what they preach.
