Benyounes Tahiri was born and raised in Berkane. He studied tourism in the Tangier Institute of Tourism.

After a brief journey that started in Nice ville Franche sur-mer in the summer of 1969, then London in 1970 then Montreal one year later, he moved to Indianan on October 25 1971. In 1972 he moved to San Fransisco , 1973 Hawai till 1974 where he worked as a life guard in Sheraton Waikiki.

1974 was the start of special journey around the world, visting over 30 countries (he started from Honoloulou to Tokyo for 20 days then Korea, Taiwan then Hong Kong, one month later Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia then back to Thailand. One a moth later he visited Singapore then back to Thailand to see Cambodia, Laos. Then Burma & India, Bangladesh, Nepal Ceylone where he spent three months.

The journey continued on to Pakistan and Afghanistan, then Iran , Kuwait, Iraq, Syria , Jordan, Saudi Arabia for Omraa, then back to Syria, Lebanon, Egypt... North Africa Libya, Tunisia, Algeria. After a few days in Spain, her returned to Berkane his home town.

A few months later he came back to the San Francisco, then settled in Orlando FL.

Tahri is married and has 4 Kids. He enjoys swimming and cooking. His famous moto in life is "Learn how to Love and Cook. Anything else is just tchache". Finally, Mr. Tahiri plans to retire in his beloved city of Berkane where he plans to be involved in the growing tourisme industry in that area.
