She eventually moved to Oahu, Hawaii and studied for 5yrs at The University of Hawaii Manoa majoring in Sociology and Women's Studies. While in Hawaii Sondra got her first start in the Entertainment Industry acting in short and feature Independant Films Showcase in the Hawaii Film Festival. Her first large Theatrical productions was The HoneyMooners at The Hawaii Theatre starring Pat Sajak. Sondra also began modeling after winning the Venus Swimwear model search and soon after hosted an Episode of Wild on E's Tropical Paradise.
