Abdul Aitboukil  [ May, 2010 ]
Abdul Aitboukil

I was born in Aitourir, small Berber village outside of Marrakesh close to the high Atlas mountains. I graduated from high school, then I went to Marrakesh University where I graduated with a bachelor degree in English Literature.

I moved to the USA in 1993 to join Walt Disney World International Program. While I was working in Disney World, I was part of the task force responsible for opening new resorts and restaurants.

I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2001. I won many awards and recognitions including In 2006, and 2009 I was one of the top 100 GMAC sales agent in North America. I was the top sales agent for Classic Homes GMAC Realty for the years 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

In 2003, I was part of the team that started The Moroccan American Chamber of Commerce in Florida. I have been the president of the Chamber since 2005. In 2006 I was part of the commission that met with then Governor Jeb Bush in Tallahassee to lobby for more American investments in Morocco and to encourage more trade between the two countries.

I was responsible for hosting the largest gathering for the Moroccan community in Florida; in 2005 more than 500 community members and other local leaders joined the MACC in celebrating The Throne Day festivities that lasted three days. I still organize, with the help of other community members, The Mobile Consulate once a year for our community in Florida.

Every day, I am helping people achieve their real estate objectives and consequently owning part of the American dream. I live with my wife and three children, the oldest one is attending the University of South Florida and the two others go to local school in the town of Clermont.
